This course will give an overview of the market drivers shaping the practices of tomorrow and explore the impact of technological trends on a practice, with a focus on the opportunities that this presents to firms as well as the risks of not seizing those opportunities.

With rapid changes in technology, and an ‘always on' culture, clients expect 24/7 access to real-time information and look to their accountant as the trusted adviser. Firms must seek to adapt their business models in order to thrive in this fast changing world and this course will explore potential new business models for the practice as well as practical support to make that transition.

Amanda Carlyle BSc, MSc, ACMA, ABNLP
After working in finance functions and qualifying as an accountant, Amanda spent most of her commercial career managing business change, leading large multi-disciplinary teams, and initiating and running projects. Subsequently she joined BPP as a senior trainer before starting up her own training business.
She is also a specialist finance business coach and coached finance executives at board level in blue chip UK and international businesses.
She brings together her finance experience and training as a business coach to add real value to the performance of her clients. Above all she aims to make training fun, relevant and a challenge.

Jeremy Lewis MSc, FCA
Jeremy is committed to making a difference to help individuals, leadership teams and organisations be the best they can be. He works directly with executives and senior managers as a catalyst for change, offering individual coaching and specialising in team coaching and group facilitation to develop high performing leadership teams, tackle conflict in team dynamics and build the leadership team confidence needed to meet emerging and future challenges.
He typically works with directors and senior managers and has clients across the public and private sectors.
Jeremy runs his own consulting, coaching and facilitation practice. He is also a visiting speaker at Sheffield Business School and Leeds Trinity University.
Before establishing his own practice, he worked as an internal and external consultant with Capita, KPMG, Mercer and Lloyds Banking Group, and was Organisation Development Practice Director at the Beech Centre for People, Performance and Organisational Development. He is a Fellow of the ICAEW.
