Event information

This webinar is brought to you in partnership with Vertex.

E‑invoicing and VAT determination are becoming an increasingly important part of how UK finance teams manage day‑to‑day operations. With HMRC developing new digital VAT requirements and moving toward more modern reporting, many organisations are asking what this means for their Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. And as the UK aligns more closely with wider European digital tax and e‑invoicing initiatives, finance teams must also consider how today’s changes prepare them for future continuous transaction controls and real‑time reporting models.

In this session, we’ll break down the upcoming UK changes in plain language, explain how they could affect your AP and AR teams, tax function and wider finance operations, and share practical steps to help you stay compliant and future‑ready. We’ll also show how automation can take pressure off teams by streamlining VAT decisions, checking invoices in real time and reducing manual tasks—cutting errors, speeding up processing and helping your business stay aligned with evolving VAT requirements.

Key topics

During this session you’ll learn more about:

  • Upcoming UK e‑invoicing and digital VAT changes, and what they mean for AP and AR teams.
  • How automated VAT determination can reduce risk and improve accuracy.
  • Tips for speeding up and simplifying the invoice‑to‑pay process, with fewer manual checks and fewer delays.
